I Sold My Soul On Ebay

This book gives a unique insight into the mind of a “Non-believer.” Hemant Mehta was raised in the tradition of Jainism, but at the age of 14 began questioning his beliefs and the existence of God. He falls away from religion, becomes an atheist, and later holds an auction on EBay for his services in attending a church, mosque, synagogue, or whatever religious organization wants to purchase his services. A Christian pastor wins the auction d soon after sends him to various churches ranging from small, medium, to mega. While attending these churches, he critiques things such as the attendance, punctuality, participation, music, quality of speakers, and more. If you are looking for a book to grow as a Christian, it is money well spent. He is giving a view from the people that we are trying to reach, and it would be wise for us to listen. Notable churches in the book that were critiqued were Mars Hill, Lakewood, Second Baptist, and Willow Creek. You can check out his blog at www.friendlyatheist.com.
